I usually avoid chain venues like the plague, but there is a feel about the place which I like. The architecture of the building possibly helps. rosaespanola Posted February 3, 2009 Share Posted February 3, 2009 I'd second Loch Fyne - I stay well away from chain restaurants as well if I can help it, but this one doesn't feel like a chain and the food is outstanding. We went for my boyfriend's birthday last month and everyone's meals were gorgeous, plus the service was excellent - friendly and efficient, and it made for a really good atmosphere.
