crookes Posted February 11, 2009 Author Share Posted February 11, 2009 I can confirm the two open dams, opting to go upstairs on the tram to see them, but wouldn't be able to put dates on their being filled in. I worked at Broomhill from 1957 to 1963 and only used the tram on odd occasions and it wasn't worth going upstairs for the 1½d ride, from Crookes. I usually went hell for leather on my pushbike, past the dam and sometimes an unintended diversion down Roslin Road. LOL. Edit - Corrected bus to tram. doh!
