brianthedog
I couldn't agree more. I like going for a curry with three or four people and then just ordering a big selection. Get a little of everything and normally enjoy the variety more. Especially good if going veggie as you can order loads of vegetables in most restuarants for very little cash! PeteM01
You have thali in Indian cuisine which I haven't come across yet in a UK restaurant bar Masala Zone in London. Think bento box or tapas. It's a tray with little dishes on it containing many portions of various Indian dishes. You can get a kind of thali at the Kashmir on Spital hill (meat or vegetarian) - 2 or 3 'starters', 3 'main courses', rice and bread. Pretty good value if you go on one of the discount nights. smsm
Try the Aagrah buffet (I think on Sunday and Monday nights and some lunchtimes). They put out a few different starters, curries, desserts, a rice dish and you can order naan and chapattis.
