I was looking at those but then saw this club is applying for a 3am license Thursday, Friday and Sat so didn't bother any more! Its not really the "in" thing! House music has allegedly been dying for a few years now. But there is quite a variation, IMO the best funky house is Hed Kandi: http://www.HedKandi.com It used to be at the Republic once a month a couple of years ago and was very successful, and better still seemed not to attract the chav's. Funky house used to be the stuff you heard at Hed Kandi etc Now it's been taken over by the 'urban' house scene in London so it's somewere between proper UK garage and vocal house.
