I guess it depends what I am doing. If I am at work I might have something like SF open in the background for a few hours if I can get away with it, but generally I'll use the net at home. If I am off work and alone I'll be on a lot of the day, but if my OH is here or if we have people 'round then generally no more than 4 hours a day. I guess I've been on and off today, probably about an hour or so all up.

We don't have TV hooked up to a signal at home because we'd rather sit and talk or play xbox than stare at a box, but sometimes we'll potter about on BBC iplayer or youtube for an evening which will take up a few hours.

These days I tend to use the 'net as more of a tool for information and entertainment rather than obsessing about a 'virtual life'...I sort of did that about 10 years ago and lost myself a bit. I have a friend who has cerebral palsy...he uses the 'net a lot, it's like he has no disability when he is online and not bound to a motorised wheelchair. I can see the appeal in spending hours and hours online in that instance, certainly.

I use internet a lot for my work during weekdays. I spend more than 10 hours on the Internet.

But obviously, weekends are my rest days, so I spend a lot less...just couple of hours..

I hate it when people tell me I spend too much time on my computer. Is there a chart that determines how much time you should spend at your computer.
