extaxman
When we lived on the Greadless Valley our garden backed on to Bullivants farmyard. I'll never forget when we first moved in, one of their geese tried getting my dad who hit it with a roll of lino he was carrying.
milcan
My aunty and uncle were the Bullifants and lived on the farm on Cinderhill Lane - this is a little way from Gleadless Valley. (Incidentally I live on Gleadless Valley.) I have good memories of my times spent on the farm during school holidays.
bigredbox
Does anyone remember Kenny & co, of Grange Farm Norton, next to Oaks Park. It's in a real state now....very sad. Spent many happy hours on that farm. Had heard old Kenny had moved onto Blackstock Road, hope he's well. Oh and have you seen what they've done to the old farm opp Old Harrow, white lane? Who ever did that wants shooting! Posh flats for "townies" grrr
