My tips as I have orgainised charity stuf before Dont think too big - think small for your first one Try and jump on the back of something - it will help to get the numbers up- maybe use the Sheffield Fayre - Norfolk park as a good starting point. Think cash - how are you going to fund buying food/booze ect Pay up front/Bring your own. I like the idea of splitting the charity funds. A live band would be good too.
