Ontarian1981 Posted December 22, 2017 Share Posted December 22, 2017 Wasn't(may still be) there a large Catholic Church on Burngreave between Scott Rd. and Spital Hill. It was or is on the left hand side going towards Spital Hill. I think it was called St Catherines. Now I am going back a long time to my schooldays at De La Salle on Scott Rd.,which itself has gone. Yes correct, St.Catherines is at Burngreave Road/Melrose Road and to walk to there from De La Salle you would turn left from Scott Road onto Abbeyfield Road passing on the way a church next door to DLS- St.James' (Presbyterian) and still there at the Scott Road corner.
