shabba Posted April 1, 2009 Share Posted April 1, 2009 you might be buzzing now LOL, but after a year when they have you by the neck and you cant change back to rates.... you might regret it! thats all im saying. put it this way, i would rather pay rates upto £600 than these meter charges, but the house i bought had a meter already fitted and my bills are excessive and there are only 4 of us living there. Is there a way of privatising fresh air?! :-) Only the lord knows that, and a company acting on his behalf under the name of Yorkshire water is trying to charge me for the bloody rain! chem1st Posted September 30, 2010 Share Posted September 30, 2010 Mines less than all of yours, but a large chunk of the bill is effectively a rain tax, and they can f right off if they think I'm going to pay that. I'm going to start sending them bottled urine, if they don't reduce the bill further. They reduced the bill after my last complaint, however they have imposed a rain tax to bring it back up.
