I think my uncle used to work there at one time, his name was Derrick (Dek) Morrell. Have only my memory to rely on as all older relatives now passed on.

Did he work in the Toolroom

USUK Yes, he loved his fishing, my Dad was the same. Dek was my Dad's brother, and my Godfather. He was a lovely, funny man, although like my Dad, the red hair came with a temper to match, although rarely shown in the family.

Yep I remember him well. Used to go winter fishing with him quite often. some kind of private club on the Ouse I think but can't remember the details.

I worked at Eschmann during1974 and left in December 1974. I was working as Production Engineer with Walter Belding (American). Ada (lady who was running the canteen) also had her daughter working there. Any one knows her name and where about?
