NewUpNorf Posted November 10, 2010 Share Posted November 10, 2010 I used to live in a 1 bedroom flat with no central heating before I bought my house and I will never ever do it again! Even if the rent was bargain price, the amount I spent on heaters just trying to warm the place up was probably what I spend on my mortgage now! lol! The worst bit was having a bath or shower- freeeeezing! I used to put an extension plug in the bathroom and a heater- sooo dangerous but I was desperate!
