Best kickboxing club

Recommended Posts

is what they call free style martial arts

not kickboxing

That is true , freestyle martial arts is totally different to kickboxing.

Kickboxing is a lot more "full on" Freestyle martial arts/Freestyle karate is more what i would call "showy" martial arts in my opinion.

yeah that is a good idea but you say 393 is a good fighters club  Ive heard all about how commercialised it can be .Why keep havin to pay thru the earth for memberships etc when you can just pay a normal fee everytime you go and train at a gym thats turning fighters out regualr? So far ive seen a lot of kickboxing clubs in sheffield and if its muay thai then yes train at Wicker but B.jones sed he wants to have a fight on a local show. Now to be truth that aint gonna happen atwicker they wont just let an average student fight you gotta be one of the best to fight o else foget it.

Now on shows the club u mention do put buig shows on but their own fioghters are a bit cack most of the time. Sdf are the best in hillsbro. Black dragon ? Never heard of them for like ages. Saw them fight against Afk on park and gardens. Kapap are good and so are AFk.So i say if you want thai try wicker if you want kick or k1 then go to kapap ,Afk or Sdf.Now thats based on if you wanna be a fighter.

membership is £26 if u want to join as a member but u dont have to

and u just pay for your lessons which is £5 thurs sun and £6 sat u choose when u train

just ring him

Doesnt make sense at all. You pay your member ship if you want to but you dont have to?

People reading that will just say "oh forget that i may as well just train and not pay membership"

Why is saturday more expensive than thursday or sunday

lol freestyle martial arts is kickboxing with extras so to speak. and it also consists of full semi and light contact. there both western infulenced martial arts called electric styles "freestyle Kickboxing"

If your club you mention does full contact then it quite simply cannot even consider itself in the running for "best kickboxing club".

There is a common saying in most Full contact sports. The proof of the pudding is in the eating. When your club (whoever they are) start putting Full contact fighters on the local scene then they will be given the acknowledgement they deserve.

We have a show on May 10th surely if your clubs fighters are good enough to be in the running then they should be able to compete against fighters from AFK, SDF and Kapap who are already matched on the card.

Meanwhile just stick to enjoying what you think is kickboxing and leave proper kickboxing to the clubs that can actually compete in it successfully.

I been training with AFK Almost 5 years now and in my opinion it is a PROPER kickboxing gym teaching PROPER kickboxing :hihi:

I fight above waist kickboxing

muay thai and k-1

so0 in AFK you get to fight all types of rules and get trained properly for them..

But best thing to do is try all the clubs mentioned e.g Wicker Camp,SDF,Kapap,AFK..etc and decide from there..GOOD LUCK
