mlfc
Is it something that the small claims court would deal with? A threat to take a case there can work wonders if the person knows they are in the wrong
Anna B
Have you tried looking for a template letter on Google?
Guest sibon
Sorry, I'm not experiencing harassment, the letter is to do with a joint mortgage with an ex partner. Google brought me to this thread. I want to advise the other party that I will be taking further action, I want to do this officially. I was told I can try to obtain an order for sale myself by applying to the courts, but I'm not sure if a letter just written by me would be official enough to get things moving? Assuming that your case isn't complicated, do it yourself. Just write down the steps that you intend to take. Give dates and deadlines. Make sure that you have the letter witnessed and check out the law carefully. That way, you will save hundreds of pounds and still have a letter that will stand up in court. So you want it to be done by a professional but don't want to pay? How would that work, precisely?
