Phanerothyme
We should probably all be far less uptight about bodies, everyone should be able to adopt whatever state of undress they wish. There will come a time when you can even take your clothes off when you dance.
Cyclone
It was the sight of this rather portly man leaning over into a freezer and wiping his very hairy and doubtless sweaty armpit along the top that made me feel quite nauseous So muscle vests should also not be allowed in supermarkets then? Olive
It's more to do with dignity and decency than anything I think - and I'm not an old person. Just someone who has standards. Absolutely, that's what I mean. Standards - having some for yourself and respect for everyone else. ---------- Post added 27-07-2018 at 08:50 ---------- I am an older person, but I agree with you. Standards have little to do with age. Nothing to do with age at all, I agree. Edited July 27, 2018 by Olive
foxydebs
Someone on my workgroup facebook page has just posted about not being able to wear shorts in this hot weather, there were some posts a short discussion and then the thread was locked. ---------- Post added 26-07-2018 at 15:04 ---------- An old-fashioned view, are you an older person? Why is having respect for others an old fashioned view, I'm in my late 30s and was brought up to have respect for others and treat others with respect. If people are taught basic things like having respect for each other then it's no wonder the world is going to hell in a handbasket.
PRESLEY
I wouldn't walk around Topless. Im not into violence so seeing women fighting over me just wouldn't do.

If people are taught basic things like having respect for each other then it's no wonder the world is going to hell in a handbasket. What you wear, is down to the heatwave, wearing comfortable clothing or less clothing, it has nothing to do with respect. Perhaps you are taking covering up to the extreme? If I entered someones house where it was expected that I remove shoes or hats, then I would do that; but in public places there are very few rules, in private/public buildings a few more rules. Chelle-82
Oh let them walk around topless if they want to! As long as they're not dangling their walnuts in anyone's face what's the harm? Such prudes in Sheffield.

leviathan13
Can we also ban women of certain sizes from wearing leggings that are so tight you can see everything through them? That has to be as offensive as a 'dad bod' with no top on?
