BEER, BLUES & BBQS FESTIVAL

Our first ever beer fest is this Spring Bank Holiday, 24th&25th May, 12~11pm both days.

We are going to put up some tents since we can't guarantee great weather so there will be plenty of room, regardless of what the skies throw at us!,

Will be perfect timing to 'Wet' our new beer garden too!

BEER:

here is our list of beers for the fest... one or two may be subject to change, but whatever we have on will be awesome!!

Thornbridge Brewery – a selection of classic favs and some new brews… you'll have to come along to find out what they are!

Fyne Ales – Avalanche (pale ale), Vital Spark (dark ale), Highlander (bitter)

Brew Dog – Punk IPA, Zeitgeist Lager, Edge (mild)

Marble Beers – Ginger Marble(organic 4.5%), JP Best (bitter), & a wild card brew, can only guarentee that it will be fantastic!

Dark Star Brewery – American Pale Ale, Espresso Stout, IPA (saved for us from their once a year brew!)

Taddington Brewery – Moravka Lager Filtered & Unfiltered

Lovibonds – Henley Gold(Angllo-American wheat beer)

We have a great selection of bottled beers in our fridges also.

BLUES

*Giles Hedley (Sunday 4pm) 'one of Britain's foremost roots and country blues players' - Blues Matters. http://www.gilesheadley.com

*Dale Storr (Sunday 8pm) 'Barrelhouse Piano Killer'

*Tom Rodwell (Monday 5pm) 'The Housewrecker' http://www.tomrodwell.com

BBQ

from 12~7pm each day

The Coach & Horses pub can be found on Sheffield Road in Dronfield, next to the Sheffield FC ground at the bottom of Wreakes Lane, just down from Bowshaw roundabout. Stagecoach bus 43 stops right outside the pub, or Dronfield railway station is about a 10 minute walk from the pub.

An update from Kelly Ryan, a brewer at Thornbridge, on what Thornbridge beers may appear in the pub during the beer fest...

CocoaDance, the chocolate and mandarin mild will indeed be featuring at some stage! As will a St Petersburg matured with both sweet and sour cherries and the awesome collaboration with Epic Brewing Co of New Zealand... our Epic Halcyon Imperial IPA! Also a cask of our Porter matured on raspberries, Katipo and maybe, just maybe a cask wheat beer...
