cleveland
I live near ruskin park in walkley/birkendale/upperthorpe, which has a very flat rectangular area in it's main ground. I was wanderin why this was, was it once a cricket pitch or something like that?

The streets were, Bloor St. Harworth St. and Elton St. They ran from Daniel Hill St. down to Burgoyne Rd.
cleveland
oh right, i'd had never had guessed that. any reason behind the clearance? I'm glad they chose to replace the streets with a park.
