I've got some suppliers up from London next Thursday and they've offered to pay for a night out I know them fairly well but have never had a night out with them. We need somewhere for a few drinks, somewhere to eat, then somewhere else to go. Live music would be a real bonus - both like new music. Need to steer clear on anywhere too commercial and lairy. My default choice is The Harley - Noodles (where's good these days?) - Back to The Harley or Cubana. The lads from North London, who make fairy-tale indie-pop, shared the prize in this year's Glastonbury New Talent competition and subsequently performed on the ‘Other Stage'. They also played at Radio 1's Big weekend, supported Mystery Jets on their tour and were then signed to XL recordings. Zane Lowe, Huw Stephens, Steve Lamacq and Jo Whiley are all part of the growing Radio 1 branch of their fanclub. They have more recently been the No1 download in NME, been out playing the MX beat festival in Guadalajara in Mexico and are out in Japan for British Anthems in Tokyo on the 14th of March.
