So the Political beast that is known a Anarchist has decided to stop responding to points that are relevant to the thread because they don't match his viewpoint.

Pathetic, our Political animal is running scared of engaging in political discussions!

Scared No. But I do have a life which I won't waste by having pointless discussions with lightweight morons who choose to ignore reality.

If you choose to waste your life posting the frankly absurd statements that you do for hours every day, that is fine. But intil you actually adopt some sort of common sense into your postings then I won't be joining in.

Enjoy the European elections. I certainly will. :hihi::hihi:

I can see you've never heard the phrase "Attack the argument and not the poster".

Anyway, come on it's not a particularly nice Sunday morning so please share with us all why you so desperately want the Tories to win the next election. I don't want a link to an opinion polll, I want to know why the threads chief Tory supporter actually wants the Tories to win.

But we weren't burdened with trillions of pounds in debt.

Neither was the USA, France, Germany, Spain, Italy, Japan, etc. etc.

I'm no fan of the government, but the Tories would not have done anything to reign in the bankers either. We would be in exactly the same mess. It was Thatcher, after all, who started the policy of financial deregulation.

The thing with Gordon Brown is that realistically we should take our hats of to him, he infact inhereted a poison plant or chalice. Tony Blair knew what was about to happen and so got out while the going was good.

But is blindness to that fact an excuse. Brown should have spotted the sucker punch.

The poll reflects the views of people predominantly in the Sheffield area - Thatcher is rather fondly respected in more cultured and less working class parts of the country.

You're not confusing stuck up and selfish with cultured are you?

No, and you're not confusing socialist ideals with the politics of envy are you, perchance?

No, I'm not a socialist, I'm not from Sheffield, I'm not working class. You're not making assumptions about me with no basis in fact are you? I could see how someone who habitually does that would be taken in by the spin and BS mythology around Thatcher
