Back again and more of the same please!

If you were lucky enough to see Beatnic when they played at the start of the year, you will know just how good they were. Back on the road promoting their first single "Good To Go", it promises to be a memorable night.

Our "Around The World" promotion continues with FREE KEBABS from 7.30 to all who buy a drink but remember its first come first served!

Beatnic Prestige will begin their set around 9pm.

Beatnic Prestige, are a mod/punk/indie band from Dunfermline, Fife.

In October 2006 they played their first gig to a sell out audience of 300 people at Pj Molloys, and since then have been ever so busy! In the first two years together they racked up more then 130 gigs all over Britain. Highlights have included playing sell out shows at 'The Old Blue Last' in London, hogmany at 'King Tuts Wah Wah Hut' in Glasgow, the Dundee 'Doghouse' and most recently the 'Kinema' in Dunfermline supporting The View. In 2008 alone they had support slots with 'Parka', 'The Law', 'Sergeant', 'The View' and 'The Paddingtons'.

When not gigging they spend most of our time at 'The Shed', a self built studio/rehearsal space. This is where they rehearse new tunes and set lists. 'The Shed' is also where they self produce demo tracks, which you can hear now and again on their myspace page. http://www.myspace.com/beatnicprestige

Vic Galloway recently selected Beatnic Prestige as his 'unsigned heroes' for the week on his BBC Radio Scotland show. He also invited them for a live session on his BBC Radio 1 show which was tip top. They have also been chosen as XFM Scotlands exposure band of the week by Jim Gellately.

2009 kicked off with a full blown 21 date nationwide tour taking in venues the length and breadth of Britain, from Elgin to London. The tour was arranged to back up the release of the self-titled debut EP.

The release the debut single 'Good To Go', which will be backed with a short tour of Scotland and England. The record will include two B-sides: 'The Happy Man' (Live @ Velocity) and 'The Reply'.

Catch them if you can.

And remember its FREE ENTRY as always.
