ShaneH Posted May 10, 2009 Share Posted May 10, 2009 my grandparents lived on chequers row until about 1985. i am sure it was the first flat next to the stairwell. their names were reg and elsie. they will have been in their mid 50's. elsie died in '85. reg died in '89. you may have known them? they were always in the pubs/clubs on there.
