On New Years Eve as we entered the new millennium Sunday Best put on its final party at the Forum. Everyone involved thought like many house nights of the same era such as “Rise” and “All Points North” that Sunday Best would remain something people talked about fondly. While many times talk of Sunday Best coming back surfaced the right venue or timing never clicked into place.

 

During a discussion about the new independent venue Soyo between Corey and Simon Brown turned in to talks about bringing Sunday Best back at this swish new venue. Simon then mentioned this on his status on facebook. The response was phenomenal!!! So the ball started rolling which climaxed last Bank Holiday Sunday with the capacity return.

 

Even more phenomenal than the response to Simons facebook status was the atmosphere inside Soyo with record numbers flocking to venue for the sound track that packed in disco, funk and proper house music with out any rubbish electro!!!

 

Due to the massive demand Sunday Best returns to Soyo Sunday May 24th, with DJ's

I hope your all looking forward to this Sundays festivities...... It's looking like another rammed packed Sunday Best. As members of the Sunday Best group we are offering you the chance to skip the que on Sunday. All you need to do it email your name and how many people you are coming with to pinupsheffield@gmail.com by 4.30pm on sunday. This will entitle you to jump any que but is not guaranteed entry (you'll have to come down early for that)
