Also, does anyone have any photographs of these in disrepair or working (in computer jpeg or GIF format would be marvellous?? Simon Ogden, The Sheffield and Tinsley Canal MikeTaylor, The Sheffield and South Yorkshire Navigation The Local Studies library also have loads of stuff on the canal. That's your best starting point ....yes , loads of pictures on there - even showing stages of restoration of the Canal Basin - and gradual decline of Victoria Station.
