REDNECK - http://www.myspace.com/sheffieldredneck

"Redneck are a 'Southern Metal' band from Sheffield UK. Imagine these being UK's answer to the likes of BLack Label Society and Lamb of God and you get these guys! Featuring two new members "Lund" and "Hed" in the band, they now have a full line up ready to start kicking out some heavyness into Sheffield again!"

CHICKENHAWK - http://www.myspace.com/chickenhawk

Manchester music album of the week

One of 2009’s exciting heavy rock prospects 4.5/5

The Letdown - Times online track of the day

Organ magazine

This just might be the British metal album of the year. Oh yes, that good!

DieShellsuit

This album probably isn't for everyone because, frankly, you're probably not good enough to appreciate it.

9/10

Metal Hammer

Chickenhawk take just over 3 minutes to annihilate any suspicion of musical conformity. We demand you go and watch them as soon as humanly possible!

Audioscribbler

Chickenhawk are pushing metal forward, testing the sonic boundaries!

Gigwise

Chickenhawk are looking for a foothold in a throwaway world, an alternative to the next inevitable slice of franchise-culture.

Kerrang

Killer chaotic freaked-out prog-core KKKK

JACKSON CAGED - http://www.myspace.com/jacksoncaged

Band hailing from Sheffield with major influences such as Korn, Guns n Roses, Bloodhound Gang and many more! They have been gigging a lot recently and are trying to build up a constant buzz so check them out!

SOULSHREDDER - http://www.myspace.com/soulshredder

In part of their biography!

"Finally, after several months of try outs, a singer was found. Thumri "Cookie" Paavana had a very melodic style of singing reminiscent of 80 rock bands such as Warlock, Queensryche and Savatage. The band thought she was a breath of fresh air compared to the endless amount of screamers and went back in to writing mode.

After several months of rehearsing, writing, tweaking and recording, the band are ready to unleash their music live, and are looking to make 2009 a busy one."

All for free entry! Doors open at 7:00pm! BE THERE!
