Mentholman
Mentholman's@WEST STREET LIVE present 'Guilty Pleasures Cover Lovers' in aid of The British Red Cross Bank Holiday Sunday 24th May Free entry Doors 3pm to 2am Raffle Compered by Jason Richford You know, we all have favourite songs that generally we'd be reluctant to admit we liked. Some naff, commercial or generally cheesy number that as a self respecting muso, you deny appreciating. So we asked our local musicians to be brave and actually play their choice of such songs. Risking their hard fought for and much protected 'serious musical reputations', these 15 bands will entertain you with their versions of songs from the likes of: Britney Take That Avril Lavigne PJ and Duncan Lionel Richie The Bee Gees Cliff Richard (*gulp*) Toto Simply Red and many, many more Our Cover Lover events are guaranteed to have a fantastic atmosphere of fun and great music, as the past 9 such 'cover-parties' have shown. We'll have buckets for you to give generously to The British Red Cross and raffle tickets will be sold to further raise monies for this truly worthy cause. All monies raised on the night will go to the charity. Please check out the work they do by following this link http://www.redcross.org.uk/ We'll have a free buffet, though I urge you get down early if you want some of that and we have some fantastic prices at the bar with a HUGE choice of spirits and shots from 50p. So come down, have a laugh, have a drink, be thoroughly entertained and make the most of the last Bank Holiday until August......
