Tuffty
Heard it thru the grapesvine @The Grapes on Trippet Lane. Upstairs Venue- Original Live acts featuring... Repeat After Me- return with a new line up,(First gig in over a year) no drummer, beat boxing indie, country, hip-hop, extravaganza. Yes, expect some of the classics, but they have taken on a very different style and sound. BlueVoyd- Former front man of seminal local band Ritalin, returns with his new band and new songs. Indie-rock with attitude! Should be interesting. Dr Robeatnik- One man, One guitar, and One box of loopy tricks. This chap has to be seen to be believed... Expect intricate tribal rhythms, eastern ethnic melodies, banging beats and some seriously slick playing. Robeatnik rocks! Downstairs (maybe on the backyard weather permitting)... 100% vinyl DJs playing 50's rock-n-roll, 60's garage, 70's punk, with a bit of ska and soul chucked in for good measure. 8pm kick off, downstairs free (as always) upstairs the bargainous price of £3. Should be a good'un, arrive early to avoid disappointment. thanks
