Jared
mentholmans @ west st live is the only place in Sheffield that does live entertainment 7 nights a week 52 weeks a year(only shut on xmas day and new year's day) and we're free entry 99% of the time too! With drinks from a quid each. we're based on 128 west st, next door to the job centre at the west st/rockingham st crossroads.

Every night was bands, and they had some top promoters there, was astonished when it appeared to have closed down..
gnikojm'i
try "ents24" website or the leadmills website, a few other venues that mostly do indie type stuff are sheffield Uni octagon, fuzz club at the uni again, then there are loads of pubs that put free (or cheap) local bands on west st live have some great bands on (all types of music) all for free, the "dove and rainbow" sometimes have some good local bands on too (mostly heavier type stuff) In short, Sheffield is filled with live music if your opened minded about what you listen to. what week are you coming?
