PROPULSION: A welcome return from a true techno trance pioneer... Propulsion, aka Kebba Janeh, has been playing live sets since the late 90s and the heady days of Escape from Samsara, Antiworld and Destination Venus. Kebba started experimenting with sampling and sequencing in 1992 in his lunchtimes in the school computer room!!! Amazed by the then emerging electronic, rave and hardcore scene and the Amiga tracker program OctaMED, he was soon writing his own tracks and was very quickly playing at the very nights he used to party at! Regular trips from his home in the West Country to play in Sheffield eventually led to a move to the steel city where Kebba’s high energy techno trance hybrid found its natural home. The last decade has seen gigs across the country and releases on many labels including his own My Reality Digital Label. Expect thundering techno trance with a psychedelic twist!

STE WILKINSON was a regular at big trance parties in the early 00s, when a chance visit to Planet Zogg led Ste to discover he wasn’t alone in his musical taste for tough techie trance with psy influences. Always a pleasure when he plays. ORANGE SOURCE is the techie backbone of Zogg as well as purvayor of fine quality orange hued psychedelic techno. DIL & GREG complete the line up as ever mashing up the musical melting pot.

 

Of course the venue will be flouro'd top to toe; look out for performers, UV stalls, outdoor chillin, cush-tea, visitations; prepare for tough, pumping and very cosmic sounds; plus you'll meet one of the most mixed, friendly, up-for-it crowds you're ever likely to come across.. disco dollies to dreads, punks to ravers…hippies to clubbers… in fact anyone up for a party is welcome & present on Planet Zogg!!
