sweetdexter
I have just ordered two chisels from Lee Valley here in Canada. They were the last batch made in Sheffield before production was moved to Asia (or so Lee Valley said). I will probably never use them but i could nor resist. Would the claim to be the last batch be true?

At my late parents home in Walkely there was a drawer full of Marples chisels many of them unused, they were from around the late 30s; my mother threw them in the bin just before she moved.
