Estikutum - has it closed or is it still open for business? Now 'Kinaara'

I've been a couple of times and found it OK but not great, however a friend drove past this morning and says it has closed and is now called Bashoiki or something.

 

Does anyone have any information about this? Is this a new venture in it's place or just some re-branding?

The website is 'closed for maintenance'...Might just be a re-branding exercise. I hope that something similar (and with the original quality and prices) takes its place.

Hi I was passing ny staniforth road and noticed that the name of Estikutum has been changed to some thing else. Has anyone been to this new restaurant. How is the food ? any feedback is highly appreciated

I hope the chefs are the same in the new place because Estikutum was excellent. I tried to get on to the old Estikutum website and it won't let you so it looks like it is a new establishment altogether rather than just a renaming.

Likewise, I am interested as I really enjoyed Estikutum although the service level had dropped recently as they appeared tired of it. Fingers crosed its still a good buffet!

I went to Eskitumum aswell and it was nice. But it was well out of the way. Would have done alto better if it was in the centre of town as more people would have seen it and known about it.
