Kinaara was fab - try and go if you want buffet - students only pay £8.95 now. I have been posting about it this morning cos I was so impressed.

I go about once a month with a group from work. I mainly go for the Indian stuff

but it's good to have chinese and Thai options too at a reasonable price.

Better than flaming dragon in my opinion!!

no... except if your main customer base is muslim

 

It had a really nice family atmosphere which I suspect was in part due to the lack of inebriation juice

Oh, I didn't realise it was mainly for muslims. It's good that they're tolerant enough to serve alcohol now like 99% of other muslim run Indian restaurants.

The atmosphere is good even if you have not drunk alcohol.. They

are very welcoming, will make alternative dishes - well they did once as there was very little veggie stuff - my friend mentioned it to staff and another dish was provided.

 

I've been quite a lot and the staff now greet me like a friend almost!

Ha ha - Kinaara is not just for muslims! Last week it was filled with lots of different types of people. And I don't understand why people are making a fuss of the BYOB? - works out soooo much cheaper. I always enjoy my meal and that is the main thing.

Four of us went last week and although not regulars, we love the food, the atmosphere is great and the fact that there is no alcohol doesn't bother us in the slightest.

 

I'll always recommend this place, the food is excellent and the staff are exemplary.

Try the new chefs specials - I had meatballs a few weeks ago
