Open Friday night, all day Saturday and Sunday afternoon. Around 30 real ales and ciders and food in the Chicken Shack run by Butlers Balti, plus rugby to watch on Saturday afternoon. Free admission. Andy C Posted September 14, 2009 Share Posted September 14, 2009 The Old Hall Inn at Whitehough near Chinley (Sheffield-Manchester trains stop there) has a beer festival this weekend with about 40 ales, a dozen ciders, BBQ and entertainment. Then next weekend the Fat Cat has a bygone beers mini festival (favourites from years gone by). Then, the main Steel City Beer & Cider Festival at Cemetery Park takes place from 1st to 3rd October with around 100 real ales and about 30 odd ciders & perries along with food and entertainment.
