Artificial Grass MEGATHREAD - No Advertising/Quotes

Recommended Posts

Chocki, I got in touch with Hall Seasons Artificial Grass. He's just started up and is very cheap atm as he's wanting to build up a portfolio. He might have some off cuts to sell for you very cheap. https://www.facebook.com/hallseasonsartificialgrass

I'm sure he's got a competition running to win some grass as well, not sure if it's finished or not

Quote Micky ET: Any one else suffering with the smell of dog wee on their grass? Tried all sorts. The sub base is sand. Not sure if that's the issue.

The lawn here has been down for some years, is of good quality and was laid by a specialist company. They used a base of something like crushed stone but I cannot remember the name - it had the word 'dust' in it. The drainage is good. It has never had chemicals applied other than spot treatment of weeds and it does not smell of dog urine. You might be right about the sand base causing the problem but like you, I don't know for sure.  Hopefully the heavy rain will improve matters.
