Lulupinkstar
I agree, the chips from Norwood chippy are lovely, and it is open quite long hours, unlike the one near the Magnet which opens at really random times. The staff are nice in the Norwood chippy too. That's my chippy , well, not mine I should be so lucky, but I could well be one of the nice ladies serving you

Darth Vader
the best one i use at the moment is next to the laundrette at woodseats (same side and 2 doors up from netto) they are really cheap you get a decent portion and the staff are always welcoming, a good all round chippy. That'll be The Phoenix then.

Wetherby Whaler are great. They have one in Wetherby too (of course) and one in Pudsey. If you're on a trip to Leeds there are two brilliant chippies, one either side of the market, on the outside. Just go round the side of the market buildings and follow your nose!
iansheff
I am amazed at the number of people who say certain shops are the best in Sheffield, have they tried all the chip shops in Sheffield?
the1
Are there any chippies in Sheffield have have won any awards?... Reason I ask is because there was one chippie down in Devon that had won loads of awards & was well respected because of it.
