zion Posted June 9, 2009 Share Posted June 9, 2009 we have two floors on which we try to play as much of a variety of music as can be played without losing the edge we're aiming for. downstairs if mostly chilled out afro and world beats till round 2330 when it heats up to world hip hop dancehall and that till round 0130 or so. then it's a mixed bag of revival and current rare jam hip hop r and b, reggae, ragga dancehall and that. the upstairs opens at eleven and pretty much hits the ground running with the rarest and best urban music we can find. this is both friday and saturday from round 1600(pre night out bbq's till 0600 next day. sunday is easy afrojazz and bbq the balcony till 0200. beers affordable and as wide a range as possible, with a bias toward african brands. still plenty of the trusted carlings, stella, becks, bud, forsters, guiness, red stripe, bulmers, wkd etc... charge will be £4 after 2300 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
