Lady Star
Hermaphrodite? Nope - actually, it was supposed to be Lady Stardust, but there's another fellow on here with that one:mad: I just couldn't be bothered to think of another one - you were on about me being a snob though weren't you? Negative too? I like it - keep em coming I've been called some right stuff on here, but never a snob and I never write to troll, be spiteful or be negative - I was just genuinely amazed that a company with such dodgy underhanded ways would be in anyway nice to employees! Lady Star
Nothing bizarre about that really, no doubt saves time and money if they don't apply for/wait for planning permission. Altough I would have suspected that most Landlords would question why Starbucks were looking to take on a lease for a retailing property, as they aren't exactly an unknown company. Maybe they will pay more? Maybe they don't approach as Starbucks, but use another name, like a holding company name? Who knows, but they do it, and have done for years - common knowledge... They cover a whole area with their stores, then when the council catches up with them keep one or two - by then they hope they will have enough custom to follow to new premises - some will and some won't, but by then they've made their cash - loads of money in coffee! bru-sheff
Starbucks is the best .... for expensive dirty water! If you really like coffee Starcr*ps is the last place to go... One of the best places I've been for a nice coffee is Bragazzi's in Abbeydale Rd, at least on this side on town! I went there but the coffee was like wee . Got to love starbucks ...I only like it because it`s a huge international chain
118menu.com
If you get a starbucks card (you only need to load £2 on it) you get loads of freebies from extra shots to whipped cream and syrups every time you show it and the odd voucher in the post
