I lived on Gould St, Lower Walkley until demolition.

Doing some family history tracing and found one of my relative lived on Goulder Terrace in Carbrook. I don't think the street still exists but does anyone know the vague location of the street now or what has been built on top of it?

 

You can now buy old street maps from Victorian and Edwardian era's showing many places that don't exist in Sheffield anymore. I use them as part of my Families History in different parts of Town.

Cross Addy Street off Addy Street nearest to where it was must be Addy Place Upperthorpe

Just to say I lived on Clarefield Road in the fifties . At the end of our road was a wall and I believe Goulder place was over the wall.  The car park for thr Arena is now built there
