Andy C
The latest..... The pub is now looking like a pub, the work remaining is fitting out the cellar and bar and the contract has now been let and work should be starting any time now, so reopening will be pretty soon..... The regular real ales will be from Sheffield Brewery Company and there will be an every changing line up of guest ales. For Cider & Perry drinkers there will be Westons Old Rosie and Hertfordshire County Perry. If you are more a lager person then the Warsteiner, Konig Ludwig and Grolsch Blonde should keep you happy. The old attractions of picture exhibitions, bar billiards and live music will still feature in the new Gardeners Rest. Pat has created a new website for the pub, which can be found at http://www.gardenersrest.com.
