Occasionally I may forget to remove the trou leg from my sock after tying up said bike with motorcycle chain, d lock, normal chain and removing both wheels and popping plastic bag over seat. Other people may do so for a similar reason, they may also do this as a fashion statement (you know what Oscar Wilde said), or for practical reasons such as shoplifting, stopping their incredibly long pair of trou bought to grow into dragging on floor. I hadn't thought that tucked in trousers would make a great sealed bag for dropping loot into on shoplifting sprees.
