There's lots to say about Cargo's August Bank Holiday knees up; there's the awesome pre-party @ mango*, there's the amazing venue (The Lions Lair) and there's also the fact that we have a special guest that is not only a resident at one of the UK's most cutting edge underground nights but is also signed up to one of the house and techno scenes more highly regarded labels: Immigrant Records.

Considering Subb-an regularly plays alongside the likes of Dinky, Jose Divina, Jamie Jones, Dan Ghenacia and Adam Shelton at Below, Birmingham (and Circoloco, London), has had his latest release remixed by John Tejada with support from the likes of Ritchie Hawtin and will have played at Sonar and Like Minded, Croatia by the time he arrives in Sheffield you can see why we are extremely excited to be bringing this seminal artist to the Steel City for the first time.

 

Subb-an is a fresh and exciting artist that is lauded as an exceptionally talented producer at a very tender age. If holding down a residency at one of if not THE best underground night in the UK isn't reason enough, then the way in which he effortlessly channels his technical craftmanship into his Traktor sets surely is.

 

And all this body clapping, fist thumping fun will be beautifully and lovingly bundled inside the rave pit that is The Lions Lair (our absolute favourite venue in town) for a lucky one hundred or so happy smiling faces!

This guy is certainly one to watch! His productions are been bummed by techno's biggest djs and with a residency at Below and regular slots with Circo Loco and such - i have no doubt in my mind that he will rip the roof off the lions lair!
