Jared Posted July 30, 2009 Share Posted July 30, 2009 West St Live (next to the job centre) has got a gig on Saturday afternoon featuring 3 local indie bands, free entry, starts at 3pmish. Then in the evening we have a live rock band on doing popular covers and a rock DJ, free entry with a whole load of special offers on drinks. The Fat Cat is having a mini beer festival where all the beers are named after TV shows, also you could wander round the Valley of beer pub crawl which as well as the Cat includes the Harlequin, Riverside, Kelham Island Tavern, Shakespeare, Ship, Wellington, Milestone, Hillsborough Hotel and New Barrack Tavern. The Commercial at Chapeltown beer festival should still be on (just) featuring beers that have won champion beer of britain over the years. For music listings, buy a copy of the Sheffield Telegraph.
