My son was placed here during the week when a social worker managed to get my kids placed in shared care. It was a wonderful building with the most beautiful inglenook fireplace and mosaic floor in the snooker room  My lad didn't fit in because it was full of lads who's hobby was twokking cars and my lad wouldn't have any part of it.

Hello Martin.  I was there in early 60s . I was there for  about 3 years, at that time I was the longest there.  I remember being devestated to leave there, Mr Sargeson done his best to keep me,  a lovely man him and his wife , I thank them for the kindness and understanding to this day.  some weekends they would take me to there house in Wensleydale for a treat.  My best friend there was Moggy would love to know what happened to him.  There was only one nasty  member of staff there he was a fat horrible evil *******, these days he would be locked up.

This has certainly bought memories up.

Al the best

Bill
