Do you venture back often, what do you think of it now and do you miss it?I haven't been back for a very long time, only for my mother's and my brother's deaths. I've been going to Ireland yearly to visit my wife's family with her, and recently changed planes at Heathrow on a side trip from Shannon to Oslo to visit friends. My memories are all good of great pals and workmates, and wonder what happened to them all. I guess the city has changed from the mucky place it was.I emigrated to Montreal in 1968, then came to Connecticut in 1977 at my Company's request and have been here ever since. Lived in London and many other places dahn sarf, until I discovered Sheffield in 2002. Moved here in 2003 and wouldn't live in London again. I'm northern now!
