Judge Jules commented: “Gatecrasher has occupied a significant place in my heart since I became resident there in the late 90s. there was simply no place like it in terms of atmosphere and a unique, musically-knowledgeable crowd. Now after sixteen years, it’s proved its credentials by weathering every clubland storm, coming out stronger and just as relevant as ever” Next Up will see MATT HARDWICK who’s illustrious association with the global phenomenon that is Gatecrasher has been well documented and has seen him play many of the greatest events the world of clubbing has to offer. Aside from the original Gatecrasher residents, Gatecrasher have always been credited with being at the forefront of the dance music scene and we welcome DANIEL KANDI for his debut behind the Crasher decks this Bank Holiday Weekend. Described as ‘very hot at the moment’ by Armin van Buuren, Kandi is undoubtedly one of the biggest upcoming trance producers to emerge from Europe. His very first demo was quickly signed by Above & Beyond to much acclaimed trance label Anjunabeats, charted high in various outlets and canned by the likes of Armin van Buuren, Judge Jules and Above & Beyond. Paul2412
Really don't like the Leeds advertising on a Sheffield forum either. The Leeds venue is CRAP. As Gatecrasher have more or less abandoned the city that made it into what it is today, are they planning on re-building the Republic or any other club in Sheffield? The Carling Academy is a terrible venue and doesn't feel at all like Gatecrasher.
