Bulgarian
I used to go just about every Saturday for lunch, the food is cheap, reliable and you get plenty of it. Ok, so the menu is a bit limited, but everything on it they do well (except the pizzas, I didn't like those). The burgers, chilli and lasagne were my favourites, and the garlic bread. And it's been open for what 40+ years, not many places can boast that.
Mr Bates
I went recently for lunch with the missus. The place is lovely, especially upstairs. Food was OK, agree about the pizzas they are a bit strange. Service very good.
crookesey
It's always been boringly average, the service is good, the ventilation is awful.
taxman
It's just...OK. The food is...OK The prices are great...but the food is ...OK The service is fine....but the food is....OK Cheap and cheerful, and there's nowt wrong with that but if you are looking for fine dining then go elsewhere. Bulgarian
if you are looking for fine dining then go elsewhere. I wouldn't realy expect somewhere with "chilli and chips" on the menu to be a fine dining experience in the first place.

Does this mean that Macdonalds isn't a real restaurant?
Bulgarian
Does this mean that Macdonalds isn't a real restaurant? I think we all know the answer to that.

azzer_01
I took my girlfriend to BB's on Division Street last Thursday based upon the recommendations of some friends. I have to say I was massively impressed. It isn't the cheapest place in the world, but the food was superb, the service was good, and you can take your own wine. It's a small place, but it is good, and the interior reminds me of some of the small restaurants I went to when I was in Italy itself. Lovely place and I'd recommend it. I had Steak and it was one of the best I've had in my life.
