Gordon Brown - Why the hatred?

Recommended Posts

Just think back to Maggie Thatcher, she despised the poor, blamed them for their own predicament, had interest rates up to 15%. She laid waste to the north of England, Ghengis Khan could'nt have done a better job. You know where you stand with the Tories, you dont stand you grovel on your knees. Unfortunately Labour is the only lot we can elect. The rest are a complete joke.

You cant vote Tory in the socialist republic of South Yorkshire their still not forgiven for things that happened 25 years ago! Get over the past and look to the future look where we have ended up under Labour only BNP scare me more than another 4 years under Labour!

I wasn't in the socialist republic in the 80s, but the West Midlands, which at that time wasn't particularly left wing. But, I still cannot bring myself to vote Tory

Reasons to hate Gordon Brown

1 Selling off our gold at it's lowest price

2 Trying to impose id cards

3 Failure to protect British citizens

4 Willingness to prefer any other nation rather than UK

5 Letting the banks p on us

6 Taking the wrong course of action whenever there is a choice

7 Portraying himself as 'Mr Prudence' when he has been utterly profligate

8 Being a liar

9 Being just the most utterly useless politician, never mind anything else.

Need any more?

I remember back to Margaret Thatcher. The stock market was booming which meant our pension funds were making money. Now they are all in hock and our pensions dissapearing. We weren't fighting illegal wars. We didn't have national debt measured in £TRILLIONS. People didn't owe thousands on credit cards. The nation was viable. The Japanese were queuing up to build factories here, and our motor industry booming.

Gordon Brown has ruined this nation. He has probably caused more financial damage than Hitler.

The stock market was booming – great if you have money to invest not so good if you haven’t,

We weren't fighting illegal wars. – The Falklands just came in time to save her bacon, she rode on a wave of national bride, I don’t suppose the Argentineans were too please though.

We didn't have national debt measured in £TRILLIONS – so I suppose buying your way out of the IMF and putting interest rates up twice in one day in the ensuing panic doesn’t count.

People didn't owe thousands on credit cards – they probably did its just that the banks weren’t calling in the debt.

The nation was viable.

The Japanese were queuing up to build factories here, and our motor industry booming. – Because there was a down trodden labour force and record unemployment

I would suggest that as most of our pension funds are invested in stocks and shares in order to generate enough to pay our pensions, the main reason that these funds are in deficit is because of failure of the stock market to grow.
