speeder Posted August 15, 2009 Share Posted August 15, 2009 Yep, Tony(?) with the limp, spent many a morning in there, before the tram and Stocky bypass killed it, bypass did as much if not more damage to trade than the tram cos all the steel wagons went straight up onto it rather than having to come down into Hillsboro to get to town or the motorway if they were heading south, then along came the tram. bullerboY Posted August 16, 2009 Share Posted August 16, 2009 Onys mum dad and aunt used to run the cafe alang with his sister Gloria,great food and lots of it and the place was always full,alas all have passed away now,Iused to work opposite at Waldot service station and we always went there for our nosh,what good memories but now its closed and gone.
