The second Summer of Love existed because the music took precedence over the times, a rejection of the corporate Yuppy culture that Thatcherism had caused it was a phenomenon that engulfed Britain. When Acid House was born it changed the corporate Yuppy culture into one of unity and hedonism. It didn't matter who you were, or where you were from, all that counted was that you were there to enjoy yourselves together. Plug residents LJ FREEMAN and GEOFF TICEHURST will be taking us back through classic house from '89 right through to the modern day. Expect acid house, funky house, garage, progressive, tech house and more. Think Hacienda, Ministry of Sound, Cream and Shoom. For one night only they'll be taking you on a journey to it all.
