Went in last night and got chatting to the new landlord Mick and his missus who seem very nice and determined to get the place back up and running again. They are currently selling their ale very cheap (Guiness £1.50 a pint!) and will be for the next few days... after this he said they will be introducing some new beers etc so go down and have a look. Also said all the old events will be returning (i.e. the quiz) and the upstairs room is available for anyone who wants to hire it. Lets not let another good pub die!! Meaks Posted September 3, 2009 Share Posted September 3, 2009 Went in last Friday, the Adnam's Broadside was very poor. They had some radio music playing through some crappy speakers which wasn't good. They also have reduced opening hours and are closed weekday afternoons.
