rockyblade Posted June 18, 2005 Share Posted June 18, 2005 Does anyone remember when there were shops on Crookesmoor Rd next to the Old Unity Chuch?(nr. junction with northumberland rd).They were made into student accomodation about 15 years ago I think but I would be interested to see any photos of them in the 60s and 70s if anyone knows of any. The old grey matter isn’t too good these days....But here goes. Beer off shop run by a fella with one arm Hurbert Fairy’s plumbing shop Small shop that later turned into a Spar shop Next one along I can’t remember this being a shop.
