Anyone know what's going on with the Sheffield club scene?

According to the Shef Telegraph - Zero are extending into Poundland to make a multiroomed venue that can also be used for gigs.

 

Rumour has it the Arches (the Archers is a radio programme..) will be opening later this year.. or maybe early next year.. who knows...

 

"Po na na" has been reopened for some time...

The old Po Na Na / Element will be open again end of Aug early sept 2005

 

The venue above has been open for some time (now called The Room, RIP The Fez) home of scuba and pinup

Ello sheffield club scene is not dead at all all the best nights have moved to Stars nightclub on queens road every friday night you will find summut goin on there like Fatmoon, Noogins and Planet Zogg which was at club zero now has moved to stars.also its summer you wont pounding techno theres afree party sum where goin on in sheffield.so chin up mate the scene in sheff is not dead its gone back underground and into the woods how its ment to be:clap:

cheers, yeah didn't think zero would b shutting, been doin really well this wknd, stars - don't make me laugh like a set from phoenix nights!! went there time ago for first lights down low there, really not a great venue.

 

don't think shef club scene is dead, just in hibernation 4 past yr or so, hopefully things 'll pick up after summer
